Urgent and dynamic spine diseases which require surgery are addressed within the hour or two at Pet ER 24/7 both day and night time. Other urgent and neurocritical spine or traumatic brain injuries which do not require surgery are addressed within the confines of our dedicated ICU utilizing once again CT and MRI, novel cooling and external ventricular drain (bedside procedure) to control fluid pressure within the skull.
